Blasted Church Vineyards on Facebook
  Location

Our estate vineyard is located in the southern reach of British Columbia's fertile Okanagan Valley, and is only an 8 minute drive from Penticton.

The property clings to an elevated bench on the east side of Skaha Lake. Most noteworthy of the landscape is that it has a cascading topography with an exceptional western exposure. Perfectly angled for the capture of precious sunlight during the growing season.

The lake down below serves to moderate the extremes of both the summer heat and the winter cool. An ideal environment for our vines.

The views from this site are simply breathtaking.

If you are planning to visit Blasted Church in the Okanagan this year, there are several nearby destinations that shouldn't be missed. We all share one of the most scenic (and yet still undiscovered) routes in the entire Okanagan Valley. Aptly named Corkscrew Drive, it all starts from the southern tip of Penticton (South Main Street), and travels along the east side of Skaha Lake (East Side Road), then it meanders into the pristine hillside (Oliver Ranch Road) until you reach Vaseaux Lake. Each of the vineyards feature jaw-dropping views of the local countryside. A great discovery.

On the wine front, Okanagan Falls is host to some of BC's finest and most colourful wineries. Memorable places to visit include Wild Goose Vineyards (wonderful Gewurztraminers and more), Stag's Hollow Winery (remarkable "get them if you can" wines), and the elegant Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars (the granddaddy of them all - by reservation only).

Other worthwhile destinations include Matheson Creek Farm, the prettiest fruitstand in the Valley (be sure to take home their Apple Cider), and a family favourite, Tickleberry's (fudges galore, and delicious ice creams).
