| The best wines you can't buy - except in BC There's simply too little of the best stuff to go around and too many knowledgeable B.C. wine aficionados who know where and when to scoop it up (hint: at the winery doors as it's released). Many of the topranked wines are sold almost entirely through winery boutiques or direct to restaurants, with just a trickle — if that — allocated to a few stores in such cities as Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary.
